2. Bring Adena to Western Mass
Goal: Bring Adena to Western Mass
10k to move our business manager and her two daughters from Toledo, OH to Western Mass
Why Now: Adena has been supporting Swanson’s remotely for years, and it’s time to bring her here full-time — both for the future of the business and for the safety of her family. In this political climate, we all need community and security. Helping her move means helping Swanson’s step into its next chapter with strength.
What exactly you will be funding: Moving costs to bring the wonderful Adena home to us!
The Goal: a sustainable future for Swanson’s.
Swanson’s isn’t backed by a trust fund or huge grants. We’ve grown fast because we’re meeting a real need in our community—but to keep up, I’ve taken loans from Stripe, PayPal, and Square. These credit card processors watch our cash flow, offer “easy” loans, and then take 20% of every sale to pay themselves back. It’s a trap.
Without those loans, we wouldn’t be behind on rent or taxes. Your donation will help us:
