Membership helps sustain us and keeps our prices low, and it connects you to all the benefits of being a close Swanson’s community member.

Stash House Membership
We’ve packed our calendar with education opportunities for new sewers and experienced makers. Make the most of this amazing community resource and receive major discounts on classes and events!
The newest feature of this membership level is member-determined discounts. That means that members get to choose their level of discount!
Member-determined discount for Winter 26 Quarter:
Members select their discount - apply 20%, 50% or 80% off of all staff-led workshops!
2 Person Stash House Membership
All the same benefits as above but for two!
Interested in sponsoring a membership for a community member? Sign up for the “2 Stash House Members” option and let us know that the second seat is for our scholarship program!
Our membership program is great for those who are local-ish, anyone short of workspace but big on making, eager learners, and makers hoping to gain new skills!

Membership Common Questions

Class discounts are based on the number of Stash House Members we have.
These will be updated every time a quarterly calendar is released and will be good for the entirety for that quarter.
This means as we gain members, we can increase our member discounts!
We guarantee that there will always be at least a 50% discount for members.

Single Stash House Members
Your member discount is good for only one spot in each class.
This means we kindly ask that if you are signing up for a friend to take a class with you, you pay the nonmember cost of the class for the second seat. (Unless they are a member too!)
Two Person Stash House Members
Your member discount is good for two spots in a class, unless you’ve opted to be a sponsor with your Two Person Membership, in this case it is only good for one.
While we love and appreciate the spirit of generosity that is present in our community we do count on the revenue of non member classes to run the Stash House :)

Staff-led workshops are those taught by, you guessed it, Swanson’s Fabrics staff!
Staff-led workshops have the staff member teaching it indicated in our calendar.
Guest Workshops are those taught by anyone else :)
Guest workshops will be tagged as such in our calendar!
