"American Harvest Wreath" Wall Hanging
The words on the back read, “ Soups ❤️=❤️ On! Designed and made by Virgina S. Maunder, a member of Leominster (MA) Material Girls Guild…2005” and “A recipie for the 2005 Summer chalenge (sic) using fabric depicting food: that is Vegies, Fruit, etc. 2nd place in the Material Girls quilt show Sept 05”
Virgina used iron-on appliqué to make this great wreath on the backdrop of Campbell’s Soup cans. It came to us by way of the New England Quilt Museum who had received a collection of Virgina’s work as a donation. We are happy to preserve her work by passing it on to you, and your purchase of this wall-hanging supports the work and programming we do at the Stash House, particularly our long-arm program. Thank you!
